"The rogue auto driver not only refused to move the vehicle but he also assaulted the home guard," the officer said. In the absence of a written complaint from the minister, no case could be started against the auto drivers, an officer said. Instances of auto drivers flouting traffic rules and endangering the lives of people are common in the city.
