A crushing 45-10 bonus-point victory has put the Wallabies' World Cup campaign back on track on a Saturday afternoon where Jordan Petaia made a tremendous introduction to the rugby world. After leading 14-3 after 30 minutes, Australia eventually cranked it up to score four second-half tries and demolish a Uruguay side ranked 18th in the world and that had toppled Fiji earlier this tournament. While the icing on the cake may have been prop James Slipper crossing for a maiden test try in his 94th appearance, Petaia's highly anticipated debut was the main course. After 20 minutes Australia only led 7-3 and Petaia looked edgy. It was the side's biggest win since their 65-3 drubbing of Uruguay at the 2015 World Cup as Dane Haylett-Petty and Kuridrani bagged doubles in a seven-tries-to-one victory.
