He was the husband of the late Annette Gagliardi, to whom he was married for 63 wonderful years. Gus was born in Fall River to the late Augustino and Irene (Raposo) Gagliardi. Gus is predeceased by his brother Frank Gagliardi, sister Rosalind “Lee” Kuhn Costa, and beloved daughter-in-law, Yukiko Kinase-Gagliardi. Gus is survived by his sister Elizabeth “Betty” Ireland Goff (husband George), and his brother and neighbor John Gagliardi (wife Paula). After his tour, Gus returned to his hometown of Fall River and resumed work as a UnionBricklayer (Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Local 3) for over 50 years.
