Confronting footage has captured the moment an elderly man was pepper-sprayed by police as he tried to force an officer to leave his home after a bizarre confrontation. Police allege the duo had $10,000 cash in the car and fled on foot when the officers approached their Nissan R50. The footage taken in nearby Mary Street shows a masked officer asking to speak to a 28-year-old man he alleged had run from police. The 31-year-old man was charged with intimidating police and hindering a police officer in the execution of duty. The 29-year-old man was issued two $1000 Penalty Infringement Notices for Covid health orders.
