0Windhoek - Namibia has added its voice in condemning military attacks launched by Morocco on the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. Sahrawi remains Africa’s last remaining colony after Morocco grabbed its territory in the 1970s. The continued occupation of Sahrawi, and the latest military actions by Morocco, prompted Namibia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, to call on Rabat to respect a UN-brokered ceasefire. “We strongly back the statement released by the AU and the UN on the developments in North Africa where a sister country in Morocco has used military force to attack another sister country in Sahrawi. “We would like to call on Morocco to respect the UN fostered ceasefire and continue to engage.
