Attacks on Jatiya Party offices in five districts as protests erupt over Nur assaultFollowing the assault on Gono Odhikar Parishad chief Nurul Haque Nur, protests and road blockades have spread across multiple districts, with supporters of the party accused of attacking and vandalising Jatiya Party offices in Thakurgaon, Tangail, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, and Gaibandha. Also, Jatiya Party offices in Thakurgaon’s Haripur and Rajshahi have reportedly been subject to arson attacks. Mohammad Mojammel Haque, the district general secretary of the Jatiya Party, condemned the attacks, noting that such violence was occurring nationwide, with party offices being destroyed. During the protest, party workers vandalised the Jatiya Party office. RAJSHAHIIn Rajshahi, Gono Odhikar activists attacked, vandalised, and set fire to the Jatiya Party office late on Friday night.
