MUMBAI—An Indian court convicted three men of raping and murdering an 8-year-old Muslim girl who was held at a Hindu temple and sentenced them to life in prison in a case that shocked the country and prompted protests over how it was handled last year. The child was kidnapped in January 2018 and held at the temple in the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir, where she was drugged, gang raped and murdered, police said in a charge sheet.
