Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Saturday filed four cases in connection with the attack of Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists in which 10 policemen were injured. He said: “In relation to attacks and destructive actions by Jamaat activists in Malibagh and Mouchak, four cases have been filed. They include one at Ramna police station, one at Shajahanpur police station, one at Khilgaon police station, and the last one at Rampura police station.”On Friday after Jumma prayers, Jamaat leaders and activists took out a procession from Abul Hotel in Rampura ignoring police obstruction. According to police, as soon as they reached there, the procession attacked the police resulting in a clash between the marchers and police personnel. DMP said that 10 policemen were injured in this attack by Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists.
