Investigative Officer (IO) of the case Imam Zafar filed attempted murder charges against Rabiul with the Dinajpur Chief Judicial Magistrate (Amli Court-7) on Saturday evening. After filing the chargesheet he said that DNA and forensic tests point to Rabiul Islam in the crime scene. On September 11, Rabiul Islam, 43, who had been suspended from his post of the gardener over a theft case, was detained from his house. On September 3, Rabiul and others attacked the official residence of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Wahida.
