Struggling to find any substantial lead in RSS leader Jagdish Gagneja attack case so far, Punjab Police are also interrogating three “handlers” of Khalistan Liberation Force held for “unlawful activities” in Hoshiarpur district on August 7. The trio, Jaspreet Singh Jassa, Hardeep Singh Deepa and Kuldeep Singh, were arrested on August 7 for “unlawful activities”, a day after Gagneja was attacked in Jalandhar. Police have, however, so far found no evidence against them which might relate them to Gagneja attack in any way. The FIR registered at 9:53 pm after “reliable information” received by a police party at 9 pm said that Harjap Singh and Avtar Singh were “active members of banned (terrorist organisation) Khalistan Liberation Force”. The FIR adds that the information was “true, accurate and reliable” and that youth can carry out a big strike.
