MANILA, Philippines — Authorities are verifying reports that fugitive tycoon Atong Ang may be in Vietnam, Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said. In an interview with DZBB on Tuesday, April 7, Remulla said the government is coordinating with Vietnamese officials to check immigration records and confirm whether Ang is in the country. "Gumagawa kami ng diplomatic efforts para kausapin 'yung counterparts namin doon para tignan 'yung immigration record nila kung nandoon talaga," Remulla said.
