He directed the authorities concerned to remove the illegal structures from the drains. He warned of stern action and launching of drives to demolish the illegal structures. While visiting Ashkona area, Atiqul directed the authorities of Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) for cleaning all drains.
