Athlone's Aidan honoured once again for top customer serviceThe outstanding customer service provided by Athlone Irish Rail worker Aidan Fallon has been recognised for the second year in a row. A popular and friendly member of staff at Athlone railway station, Aidan was selected as the the overall winner nationally in the Customer Experience (CX) category for Irish Rail station staff. He was presented with his award at Iarnród Éireann's second annual CX Awards, held on October 15 last at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. This follows on from the local man being named as a regional winner and finalist in the in-station Customer Experience category at the inaugural CX Awards event in September 2023. "For me, Aidan is the model customer service agent," said Mr Curran.
