Athlone GAA trio John O’Brien, Kieran Donlon and Sive O’Brien, who are among the nominees in the Westmeath LGFA Volunteer Awards. Athlone coaches nominated for Westmeath LGFA awardsThree Athlone GAA coaches have been shortlisted in the 2024 Westmeath LGFA Volunteer of the Year Awards, which take place on Friday evening. John O’Brien coaches the U12 girls’ team and is the visionary behind the All Stars Programme at Athlone GAA. “Having three of our coaches nominated for the Westmeath LGFA Volunteer of the Year Awards is a testament to the dedication and passion they bring to their roles,” said Fiachra McLoughlin, Chairman of Athlone GAA. “We are very proud of all three nominees and the positive impact they have on our players and community in Athlone GAA.”The Westmeath LGFA Volunteer Awards ceremony will take place in the Village Barn, Tyrrellspass this Friday, November 22 at 7.30pm.
