Jessica Hennessy, Emily Corbet and Muireann Devaney have all been invited to attend the next training session, the club announced on its Facebook page today. Vera Pauw’s Ireland women’s team is battling to secure qualification for the World Cup. The call ups for the Athlone trio comes on the back of the team’s eye-catching displays which sees them sit in third position in the Women’s National League, with Corbet the league’s joint top scorer.
