Yesterday (Wednesday, February 11) the club announced a decision to reject cash payments at the stadium, saying this was taken "in order to improve operational efficiency and financial governance". However, the club has slightly changed its stance after much public feedback on the issue, particularly through various online forums. In an update issued on the matter, the club stated that "following feedback and an internal review, we have made the decision to accept cash at the club shop". It added: "We will continue to operate card and mobile payments at the gate, which was successfully practiced at our European games last summer.
