MANILA, Philippines – UAAP volleyball season is fast approaching and the fans are already buzzing. The opening weekend for Season 81 women's volleyball looks to be action-packed, highlighted by an early meeting between defending champions DLSU Lady Spikers and the Ateneo Lady Eagles on Sunday, February 17. But due to their rankings last season where the Lady Spikers and the Lady Eagles finished first and third, respectively, the longtime rivals will be opening the season against each other. Meanwhile, Coach Air Padda's Lady Falcons will open Season 81 against Sisi Rondina and the UST Growling Tigresses the next day as a prelude to Ateneo-La Salle at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
