At the Times Square subway station in New York City, a man pushes a woman onto the railroad tracks, killing her. Two people have been arrested after a man shoved a woman in front of an oncoming subway train in Times Square on Saturday. According to WNBC, the man then shoved the woman onto the tracks as a southbound R train approached the station. According to the city’s own crime statistics, crime is up 30.5 percent since the same period in 2021. This is the second death on Manhattan subway tracks in the last few weeks.
