The news included:A deal with Charter Spectrum to make the Apple TV an alternative delivery box for its pay-TV services. Apple will further simplify the customer-authentication process of providing those pay-TV services with what it called Zero Sign-In. That should make a lot of not-tech-savvy consumers much happier when they try to watch their shows on their phone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac. Apple's TV app is getting a serious upgrade. Will add Dolby Atmos audio to all its 4K HDR Apple TV programming and devices.
