The temporary testing centre will assess people who live in the city who are showing no COVID-19 symptoms. Brooks is home to roughly 15,000 people, meaning nearly seven per cent of the city's population has contracted COVID-19. AHS said translation services will be available at the testing centre. The drive-in asymptomatic testing centre will be open from May 12 to May 14, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 144009 Township Road 192N. Anyone who is showing symptoms should call 811 or use the province's online assessment tool, so they can be referred for testing at the existing symptomatic testing centre at the Brooks Health Centre.
