Astros shortstop Carlos Correa will miss the rest of the regular season due to his back injury, manager AJ Hinch said prior to Houston’s Thursday night game against the Los Angeles Angels. Correa was examined by a Los Angeles doctor on Thursday, and Hinch said no major issues were discovered. He will also miss the final three contests of the four-game series in hopes the rest will help his ailing back. Correa, who turned 25 on Sunday, missed 50 games with a fractured rib, returning to action on July 26. He injured his back 3 1/2 weeks later and sat out the next 25 games before returning on Sept. 17.
