By Sabela OjeaAstraZeneca PLC said Friday that its Evusheld medicine has been recommended for marketing authorization in the European Union for the treatment of patients with Covid-19. The Anglo-Swedish pharmaceutical giant said that the European Medicines Agency's Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use has a positive opinion on the treatment.
