In its announcement, AstraZeneca also unveiled that the plant is supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). Png Cheong Boon, EDB’s Chairman said that they welcome AstraZeneca's decision to establish a manufacturing presence in Singapore for the first time.
