Aston Villa have agreed a £22m deal with Club Brugge over the signing of striker Wesley Moraes, subject to international clearance. The newly promoted Premier League club are confident of completing international clearance for the Brazilian particularly because he has previously featured in the Champions League, though he does not automatically qualify for a work permit. Moraes, who netted 17 times last season, has spent the last four seasons with the Belgium club, helping them claim two First Division titles and two Belgian Super Cups. This makes the second signing for Aston Villa, who acquired the services of Anwar El-Ghazi on a permanent four-year deal from Ligue 1 club Lille on Monday. The Netherlands international spent last season on loan at Villa.
