Assaults, drunk driving, stunt driving: Six months in the lives of foreign diplomats in Canada

Stunt driving. It’s been another six months in the lives of foreign diplomats in Canada, as collected in the old-fashioned police blotter style of reports from Global Affairs Canada. The details are contained in two quarterly reports recently released by Global Affairs under an access-to-information request, covering mid- and late 2018. The son of one high commission official was charged with stunt driving for driving more than 50 km/h over the speed limit. Global Affairs called his dad, who promised (in writing) that the youngster won’t get the keys again until his licence is returned.
