Should I ditch or donate them - or is it ever okay to re-gift? (You may recall that Diane previously offered up some great advice on holiday tipping for Ask Bankable.) When someone takes extra time to hand make or purchase a special gift, it’s most polite to acknowledge the effort – a.k.a. Unless you are certain the original gift giver will not be attending, don’t take a "tacky" gift to give to someone else as a joke. With that, you're less likely to offend either the initial gift giver (if you're found out) or the recipient.
