PETALING JAYA: Star Media Group Bhd's video-on-demand service dimsum.my will bring the very best of local and regional content to viewers, said group managing director and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai (pic). Wong said that dimsum.my will serve the best Asian content from Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Thailand and more. During the launch of dimsum.my at Empire Hotel Subang on Tuesday, Wong ran through a sampling of the 10,000 screening hours worth of content. The service will feature films, dramas, variety shows, children's shows, documentaries and even daily news in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia. He added that this was reflected in the name of the video-on-demand service as dim sum roughly translates to the "selection of the heart" in Chinese.
