The Bank of England also left interest rates unchanged on Thursday, as expected.U.S. crude added 0.1 percent, or 8 cents, to $57.12 a barrel, after gaining 0.8 percent overnight. Brent crude futures had yet to trade on Friday after settling up 1.4 percent, or 87 cents, at $63.31 a barrel on Thursday.
