Asian shares down, dollar strong on US Fed hike bets

investors are expecting a strong signal that may emerge from the US Federal Reserve meet this week in Jackson Hole. "The DXY US dollar index already seemed to be looking ahead for some slightly more upbeat language on the US economy coming out this week as it rallied 0.4% on Friday," he said.
