MazdaAsian car brands continue to dominate Consumer Reports’ annual list of the most reliable cars. The Jeep Gladiator pickup truck was one of the few American nameplates to score at the top of Consumer Reports reliability rankings. Several companies stood out by their extreme lack of reliability, Consumer Reports said. Lincoln had the dubious position of ranking the least reliable among the 26 brands Consumer Reports analyzed. To derive the rankings, Consumer Reports statisticians calculate reliability ratings for every major mainstream car, minivan, SUV and truck using Consumer Reports’ member survey data.
