National League Morecambe have signed defender Ashton McWilliams on loan from Premier League side Aston Villa. The 18-year-old signed his first professional contract last summer and previously helped Villa win a treble of the FA Youth Cup, Premier League South as well as the Premier League National Final. McWilliams, who has progressed through Aston Villa's academy, is yet to make a first-team appearance for the club.
