Ashraf Abdel Baqi - Egypt Today. CAIRO – 10 December 2018: Famed Egyptian comedian Ashraf Abdel Baqi travelled to Saudi Arabia on Dec. 9 to start rehearsing for his new show alongside the stars of the Saudi Theater.The show is set to take place in the Literary Cultural Club in Jeddah. The theatrical play is produced by Sadiq al-Sabah with the participation of 50 Saudi actors and actresses. The first shows gained huge success among the public in Saudi Arabia.The performances were launched in Sept. 2018 in a theater hosting 720 spectators. Tickets are sold at 30-40 riyals on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
