Conor Hurley touches down for his second try in Ashbourne's comprehensive victory over Seapoint. Gavin Kennedy eventually opened the scoring after 20 minutes with a penalty kick drilled low into the wind. The pressure paid off as Conor Hurley crashed over for a try, again unconverted, extending the lead to a comfortable 16-5 after 55 minutes. Kennedy then slotted a long-range penalty with the assistance of the wind to make it 19-5 entering the final quarter.
