Techiman Eleven Wonders, according to reports, are renovating their pitch at the Nana Ameyaw Park, forcing them to shift their home games to the Nkoranza Park which is in a bad state. “The pitch at the Nkoranza Park is not good for a Premier League sides,” Abdul Wahab complained in an interview with Silver FM Sports on Saturday. With the mandate of normalizing Ghana football, it was least expected that such a potato pitch will be allowed to host a Premier League football in Ghana. Strangely, the Nkoranza Park has not even hosted Division One League games in so many years let alone Premier League football.
