At 18-times forward P-E (price-to-earnings) multiple, the markets are within boundaries of reasonable valuations and “earnings" are low compared to the long-term average. We believe that core portion (say 65-75%) should be in large-cap funds, and the remaining in mid-cap funds. For instance, we may move from thematic to the large-cap category within equity funds. Lately, equity funds have shifted towards large-caps; some reports suggest 57% of the AUM is now in top 50 stocks.
