Major League Baseball’s Commissioner Rob Manfred, in Toronto for Tuesday’s game, said baseball as a whole is devastated by the attack. “I hope that the game tonight will provide maybe a little bit of the beginning of a healing process that will be important for the city. “It’s just another reason for us to give one ounce more tomorrow than maybe we thought the day before.”
