And 15 months into the Trump presidency, big changes are underway in the foreign policy team. Haley successfully outmaneuvered a weak and publicity shy secretary of state and a dysfunctional State Department to hog the foreign policy limelight. He can claim no foreign policy successes; Middle East peace diplomacy, which he owned lock, stock and barrel, is going nowhere. The last thing Trump wants is a chorus of squawking hawks -- Pompeo, Bolton and Haley -- stealing his glory. Whether his new foreign policy team will have any better luck than the old one in managing the President or the nation's foreign policy remains to be seen.
