I would argue this delay for A Quiet Place Part II is the first real blow in terms of the 2020 moviegoing slate. But A Quiet Place Part II is a little different from Peter Rabbit 2 and No Time to Die. A Quiet Place earned $188 million (55%) of its $338 million worldwide cume in domestic theaters. Paramount has been in a relative slump for the last three years, save for the one-two-three punch of A Quiet Place, Book Club and Mission: Impossible - Fallout in mid-2018.
