As the UK’s first minister for digital, when I meet people they tend to ask one of two things. Even our great astronaut Tim Peake recently commented on his connection in his space station. In fact, I think the current rate of change we’re seeing will be the slowest we will see for at least the rest of our lives. Yet we also know that in the past, whenever new technology is invented, new opportunities can be created too. Our task as a society is to make sure that happens this time too.
