New Delhi: Weeks after the dilution of Article 370 in Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday reiterated that the matter had been deliberately dragged into a controversy by some people. Speaking on the sidelines of an event, Shah said, "Even today there are many rumours doing rounds about Article 370 and Kashmir. We know since 1947 Kashmir has been a matter of discussion and controversy but distorted history was presented before people." About the preventive detention of state leadership as well as separatist leaders, Shah said it was imperative to right the wrongs. I think time has come that correct history is written and presented before people," Shah added.
