Arsenal are vying it out for a return to the top four having failed to qualify for the Champions League during Wenger’s final two campaigns in north London. Old foes United are among the teams they are competing with as they look to make it back into UEFA’s elite club football competition. Both teams lost on Sunday, damaging their challenges, with Crystal Palace and Everton running out winners against Arsenal and United respectively. Arsenal do, though, have two points more and a better goal difference than United and currently sit fourth to the Red Devils’ sixth.
