Thomas Lemar updateTottenham are reportedly on the spot to sign Thomas Lemar from Atletico Madrid, a twist that will come as a blow to Arsenal who have looked at the Frenchman. The Gunners are long-term admirers of the forward and could return for him this month. However, according to Foot Mercato, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is ready to make a move for Lemar. Tottenham are not able to reach the kind of figure that Atletico are quoting though, as they look to offload the flop they signed from Monaco in the summer of 2018. Spurs could look to try and negotiate a loan deal with an option to buy, in order to secure the signing.
