Lucas Torreira is wanted by AC Milan (Getty Images)Arsenal are considering selling Lucas Torriera after AC Milan submitted their first offer for the midfielder, according to reports. Earlier this month, the Uruguayan sparked speculation surrounding his future at Arsenal by admitting that he preferred life in Italy. Torreira impressed in his first season with the Gunners after he was signed in a £26.5 million deal from Sampdoria last summer. According to Italy’s Sport Mediaset, AC Milan have made a two-year loan offer for Torreira worth up to €8 million (£7m) and includes a €38m (£34m) right-to-buy option that would be paid in one installment. Former Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis is spearheading AC Milan’s push to sign Torreira as he is wanted by the club’s new manager Marco Giampaolo, who worked with the Uruguayan at Sampdoria.
