Arsenal secured the loan signing of Denis Suarez in January with Unai Emery reportedly keen on adding creative midfielders to his squad. One player that was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates was Ever Banega. Banega, 30, has played for Sevilla almost 200 times either side of a spell at Inter, and played under Emery in Spain. Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has now provided an update on the proposed deal, but has suggested that it is highly unlikely to be competed.
