Arsenal have made an offer to Vitor Pereira to replace Unai Emery and become the club’s new permanent manager. According to Diario de Noticias , Pereira is being considered for the Gunners’ hot seat at the Emirates, but would be more of a left-field choice. The Portuguese coach is honoured to be considered for such an important job but insists he is currently focused on SIPG. However, the 51-year-old didn’t rule out talks over a move to the Premier League in the near future. Pereira said: “It’s always an honour and I am utterly grateful to be considered on a list by a club that I have so much respect for.
