Arsenal hero has Thomas Partey transfer doubt as deal dependent on Stan Kroenke condition

Arsenal hero Kevin Campbell does not expect Thomas Partey to join the Gunners unless the club's owner Stan Kroenke personally funds any deal. The Gunners will have only limited funds for the summer transfer window due to the combined repercussions of a lack of Champions League football and the coronavirus crisis. Mikel Arteta will presumably have to sell players in order to raise any significant funds, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang the most valuable player who could leave. But with it having been suggested that Arsenal may get an absolute maximum of £35million for the Gabon international, who they valued at £50m prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, it may take a number of deals for Arteta to raise the cash to sign targets such as Partey and RB Leipzig centre-half Dayot Upamecano. And Campbell fears that unless American owner Kroenke puts some of his own money in, Arsenal will have to miss out on Atletico Madrid midfielder Partey.
