Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has insisted the club is “doing what it has to do” and is “having conversations” as they seek to secure the long-term future of Bukayo Saka. The 18-year-old's current contract is due to expire in the summer of 2021 and Manchester United are one of several clubs monitoring the player’s situation at the Emirates. Saka, who is in the final 18 months of his current contract, has had a breakout season for Arsenal this campaign. Despite usually playing as a left-midfielder, the youngster has found himself deployed as an emergency left-back this season as a result of injuries at the club.
