The uncapped Spanish 27-year-old scored 17 goals in 37 games for Deportivo last season following his move from Greek side PAOK. Arsene Wenger's side are also set to confirm the signing of Valencia's Germany defender Shkodran Mustafi, 24, for a fee in excess of £35m. Wenger revealed on Saturday that Perez and Mustafi had joined, but the club had yet to announce either deal. Meanwhile, Werder Bremen are hopeful of signing Arsenal midfielder Serge Gnabry and say the transfer could be confirmed on Wednesday morning.
