Dennis Pineda and other local officials also threw support behind the Hugpong bets. On Friday, six other Hugpong candidates held their campaign caravan in Baguio, in time for the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) alumni homecoming. Malacañang, meanwhile, admitted that President Duterte only raised the hand of former senator Estrada in an event last week out of “courtesy,” and nothing more. Duterte also declared support for six “guest” candidates — Marcos, Cayetano, Villar, Angara, Ejercito and singer Freddie Aguilar.
