Officers search for the suspect at a Wilson carpark. Photo: Gerard O'BrienDunedin police have arrested a man after he allegedly pointed a BB gun at a passing police car in South Dunedin this morning. The male driver pointed a hand-held BB gun at a passing police car. The officers in the police car did not see the incident, but the witness followed the vehicle to the Wilson carpark, opposite New World, on Cumberland St, where a hunt began for the occupants. Police located the BB gun in the car and the man was arrested nearby.
